I did catch one or two of the TBS Dinner and a Movie, those were pretty neat. Never heard of the home-improvement show though, that's pretty interesting; kinda like Ask This Old House with a movie.

There were several shows (not with horror themes) like "Dinner and a Movie" on TBS for a while... that got done in 2011. There was even a home-improvement themed one for a bit, where they'd watch a film and fix stuff in an old house during commercial breaks... All within the last 6-7 years I think. The only horror hosts I was ever familiar with as a kid was Peter Vincent, Elvira, and that guy in Gremlin's 2. It wasn't until Highschool that I caught a couple of Briggs's shows.

I agree! I'm really suprised there isn't something like this on TV now, especially with all the different cable channels.

I miss tuning into stuff like this. As a kid all I had horror-host-wise was Grandpa Munster on Saturday afternoons (I think it was TBS back in the 80s). I also really miss Joe Bob Briggs late night movie show on the weekends in the 90s...
